MelodyMake has no accounts, no logins and no database of users. All instrument sounds are synthesized in your browser with the Web Audio API.

What stays on your device

• Audio files you drop into the key finder or BPM finder are analysed locally and never uploaded.
• Microphone audio in the guitar tuner is analysed in real time and never recorded or sent anywhere.
• Your work (songs, beats, recordings, saved lyrics and settings) is saved in your browser’s localStorage so it’s there next time. It never leaves your device unless you copy a share link yourself.

What is sent to a server

When you press an AI button (lyrics generator, line rewriter, rhyme finder, progression explainer or the theory question box), the text you typed is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to produce the answer. We don’t store these requests. Don’t enter personal information in them. Your IP address is held briefly in memory to enforce a fair-use limit.

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn’t use cookies or collect personal data.
